Fr. Francisco Juan S.J.
Senior-most resident priest; He came to India about 60 years ago from Spain and has been in our various Jesuit Parishes in Mumbai for extended periods. He serves as Asst. Parish Priest at St. Peter’s for more than 20 years.
Fr. Aubrey Mascarenhas S.J.
Asst. Parish Priest.
With experience as a Parish Priest in other Jesuit Parishes, Fr. Aubrey was for several years, the Director of the Shrine of the Infant Jesus at Nashik. He has a Ph.D. in Sanskrit and was the Coordinator of the Archdiocesan Inter-Religious Commission, with special interest and expertise in Indian religions.
Fr. Baptist Pinto S.J.
Jesuit Superior & Asst. Parish Priest
He has been in education for his entire career and was Principal at St. Xavier’s Mumbai and Nashik and St. Mary’s Mazagon. He also has pastoral experience at the various Jesuit Parishes he was attached to.
Br. Conrad Fonseca S.J.
Commissioner of Scouts
He is attached to the St. Stanislaus and St. Mary’s units; he helps in the Parish as Lector, Cantor and Eucharitic Minister. He also looks after the health and diet of the Jesuit community at St. Peter’s.
Fr. Evarist Newnes S.J.
Asst. Parish Priest
An eminent educationist specializing in ICSE curriculum and has been Principal of several Jesuit ICSE Schools including St. Mary’s ICSE. His latest accomplishment was to set up and administer for several years, a new ICSE school in Manickpur, Vasai – St. Xaview English Medium ICSE School. He has also spent several years as the Coordinator for the Jesuit alumni in the Bombay Province.
Fr. Dudley Mendonca S.J.
Counselor in residence
Has been trained in Counselling in the U.S. and has served as a Spiritual Director at the Jesuit House of Formation in Pune and also at the Jesuit Psycho-Spiritual Centre: Sadhanalaya, Lonavala.
Fr. Assis Rodrigues S.J.
Asst. Parish Priest, Jesuit Community Minister
A young Jesuit, he comes to us from the Shrine of the Infant Jesus at Nashik and with pastoral experience in different Jesuit houses. The Eucharists in Marathi he presided over online from the Shrine were appreciated all over Maharashtra and abroad. He will have a special ministry among the Youth of the Parish.
Fr. Simon D’Souza S.J.
Asst. Parish Priest
Fr. Simon has been in Higher Education most of his life, teaching at St. Xaviers College Mumbai and serving as in-charge Principal for a short time. After retirement from the College, he has served in the spiritual ministry for several years, including a stint at the Infant Jesus Shrine, Nashik and the Jesuit Retreat House, Bandra.
Fr. Fabian Barreto sj
Fr Fabian Barreto SJ, completed his degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and then worked for five years before joining the Jesuits in June 1996. Three years of his work were as a Marine Electrical Engineer on board ships.
After completing his Jesuit formation, he was ordained in 2005. Since then, he has been teaching in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication, Xavier Institute of Engineering, Mahim. Presently he is pursuing his PhD studies in Artificial Intelligence.
His interests include scripture studies, meditation and art.
