  • In this Sunday’s liturgy we celebrate the Solemnity of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The 9.00 am Mass on Sunday 31st will be a concelebrated Feast Mass to thank God for the Ignatian legacy.The Jesuits thank you for celebrating with them this Feast. Please make sure you collect a piece of cake as you leave Church through the Lobby or through the exit near the Sacristy, as a symbol of celebration. We appreciate your presence at this Eucharist.
    The Senior Citizen’s Group invites all Seniors to shake a leg, at a session of Line Dancing and Exercises, on Thurs 11th August at 5.30 pm in our Lady’s Room. New members are welcome.
  • The Social Outreach Cell is organizing “Dhanyavad” – a program of Fun and Fellowship for Domestic Workers in Bandra, on Sun, the 14th of August at 5.00 pm in St. Peter’s KG Hall. Kindly register the domestic workers at the Parish Reception.
  • Tickets for the Stop Gap’s concert, Sounds of Freedom, are available on Tue, Thurs and Sun evenings this coming week, at St. Joseph’s Secondary Section. Thereafter they will be available at the Auditorium.
  • On Tue 2nd August we celebrate the Feast of Jesuit St. Peter Faber, companion of St. Ignatius. On Thursday 4th, Confessions will be heard in the Parlour between 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm. Friday the 5th is First Friday, with a special evening Mass at 6.00 pm. Sat 6th is the Feast of the Transfiguration of our Lord. Quite an event-filled week!
  • We bid goodbye to Fr. Felix D’Souza, Asst. Parish Priest and Vice Principal of St. Stanislaus, who takes over on the 1st of August as Principal of the Jesuit Gnanmata Adivasi High School, in Uplat, Talasari. He served our Parish in many capacities during the last 3 years, including looking after the Confraternity and the Altar Servers and as Priest-in-charge of Divine Mercy Community. God’s choicest blessings be on him as we continue to support him in prayer!
