This week we have two International Days to focus attention on important global issues. Monday 9th Aug is the International Day of the World’s Indigenous People and this includes the Adivasis of India. Thursday 12th is the International Youth day. We thank God for our Adivasi parishioners and for the Youth of our Parish. Both are active groups and we are grateful for their participation in Parish activities.

This Friday 13th Aug, the Parish Council will meet online at 8.00 pm.
Next Sunday, 15th August, is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is also the Independence Day of our Country. The Parish will host an online Inter-Religious Prayer Service and Flag Hoisting, in St. Peter’s Square, at 9.30 am. We request Parishioners to join us online in this meaningful celebration. At 10 am we will live-stream the Eucharist from the Church.
Next Sunday, St. Peter’s YSS – Youth Social Service, in partnership with Holy Family Hospital, will host a Blood Drive from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm in the Loyola Hall. We request our Youth to be generous in donation, as hospitals need blood urgently at this time. The young at heart below 60 years are also welcome!
