- The Season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on 18th February. There will be an additional Mass at 6 pm on that day. Imposition of the Ashes will be done at the end of each Mass. Ash Wednesday is prescribed by the Church as a day of fasting and abstinence.
- On Fridays in Lent, the evening Mass will be at 7 pm, followed immediately by Stations of the Cross. Stations of the Cross in Konkani will be at 6:30 pm every Thursday.
- The program for Lent and Holy Week will be sent to you this week through your zone coordinators. It will also be on the notice board
- Our Parish Pilgrimage to Mount Mary Basilica will be on Thursday 19th February. We will assemble in the church square at 7:30 am and walk in procession to the Mount to celebrate Mass there at 8:30 am.
- St Joseph’s Convent International School invites applications from trained and experienced teachers for Grades I, 2, and 3. Applications for admission of children to all grades are still open. Please see the notice board for further details.
- The Bombay Catholic Sabha is organizing a Seminar on the recent Budget and its implications. This will be in the Loyola Hall at 5 pm on Saturday 21st February.
