This Sunday, the 2nd of Oct, is Gandhi Jayanti and the International Day of Non-violence. We remember Ukraine and other war-torn parts of the world and we pray for peace, that we may all learn the ways of non-violence.
The East Indian Confraternity celebrates the Agera Feast this Sunday, with a procession from the Chapel Road Junction near Jeff Caterers, starting at 8.15 am, with the traditional costumes, band and horse carriage, to reach the Church for the 9.00 am Mass. Fellowship will follow in the Church Parlours and Lunch has been organized at the Pioneer Hall.
In the month of October, from Monday to Friday, starting from Monday 3rd, the Rosary will be recited at the Grotto at 6.15 pm.
The Hope and Life Group will have their meeting this Wed 5th Oct at 5.30 pm in the Holy Cross Room. All widows are invited.
The Stopgaps presents the 3rd Children’s Choir Festival, at 6.30 pm on Sunday 2nd October at St. Andrew’s Auditorium.
Next weekend, 8th and 9th October, the Centre For Social Action of the Archdiocese, will have a sale after every Mass, of food and other products made by the Adivasisof Raigad, in the effort to generate sustainable livelihoods.
