On Wednesday 15th Sept, we begin a new series of “Searching the Scriptures” taken by our Jesuit Team and other resource persons, to reflect on what God is saying to us today through Scripture. The first session will be taken by Fr. Frazer on St Paul’s letter to the Colossians. The session is online from 7.40 pm to 8.15 pm.
The Stop-Gaps Cultural Academy, in collaboration with the Centre for Social Action of the Archdiocese, presents, “In His Time”, a gospel concert by various music artists, to raise funds for COVID relief activities. The Concert will Premier on the Stop-Gaps YouTube channel next Sunday 19th Sept at 7.00 pm.
Our Parish has been doing composting of wet garbage for many years in our effort to become a Zero Garbage campus. We have produced a good quantity of rich manure which we are offering free to our parishioners in small quantities, as a symbol of our commitment to action, in this Season of Creation. You only have to come with a bag and collect it yourself between 9 am and 12 noon. Our Security personnel at the Gate will guide.
We are offering for sale some spiritual books at our Campus Gate every weekday morning from 9.00 am to 12 noon and from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Those who have booked the Examiner with us can also collect it from this table.
In the week ahead we reflect on the role of suffering in our lives, with the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross on Tue 14th and of Our Lady of Sorrows on Wed 15th. On Fri 17th we remember a Jesuit saint: Robert Bellarmine.
