  • On the World Day of Refugees and Migrants, we think of those in our Parish who have come to the city for work, leaving their extended families behind. We pledge to accept them as part our families and communities.
  • On Monday 27th Sept, the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul, Sr. Venita – Provincial of the Daughters of the Cross, will speak on Compassion for the Disadvantaged, giving an analysis of social inequities and structural injustice, helping us understand the causes of disadvantage in society. This live streamed session will be from 7.40 pm to 8.15 pm on the St. Peter’s YouTube Channel. All Parishioners are encouraged to watch this programme.
  • We look forward to the opening of religious shrines in Mumbai from the 7th of October. The Parish Team welcomes you back to Church. Arrangements and Protocols will be announced next Sunday.
  • We are offering for sale some spiritual books at our Campus Gate every weekday morning from 9.00 am to 12 noon and from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm. The Examiner subscriptions have ended with this weekend issue. From October, new subscriptions are invited by the Examiner Publisher at Rs 750/- per year. We will issue a receipt for this at the gate.
  • This Friday, 1st of Oct, the Feast of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, is also the International Day of Older Persons. We remember our senior citizens, especially those who stay alone. May they feel cared for in our communities, through Parish outreach. Saturday 2nd October is Gandhi Jayanti and the International Day of Non-Violence. We are also reminded that this is the last week of the Season of Creation – we are encouraged to meaningfully work towards the Care for our Common Home. We invite you to collect some of the manure our campus has produced through Bio-composting, any morning between 9.00 am and 12 noon.
