Next Sunday 13th November is the World Day of the Poor. Every parishioner is encouraged to reflect on the immoral inequalities of wealth and resources in our world and to act to alleviate the condition of some poor persons you can reach out to.
This weekend, the Centre For Social Action of the Archdiocese will have a sale in St. Peter’s Square after every Mass, of food and other products made by the Adivasis of Raigad, in the effort to generate sustainable livelihoods.
The Jesuits of Ashagad and their tribal communities, thank you for your generosity. Contributions can still be submitted at the Parish Reception or put into the Church Community Fund boxes clearly marked for Ashagad.
The Daughters of St. Paul invite all Youth to a Symposium on “Artificial Intelligence” on Sat 12 Nov. Eminent speakers will speak on its potential to better our lives and the related careers for young people. Please see the Notice Board.
There will be a session of Line Dancing and Exercises for all Senior Citizens on Wed 9 Nov at 5.30 pm in the Loyola Hall.
The Social Outreach Cell will celebrate Children’s Day next Sunday 13, for the Differently Abled children they work with.
The Annual Subscription of Rs. 1000/- to the Examiner is due. Please pay in the Parish Office.
The Parish Council will meet this Friday 11th Nov at 8.00 pm. Parishioners may contact any PPC member with suggestions or feedback to be brought to the Council.
Next weekend 12-13th, the Parish will hold a sale, at vastly discounted prices, of items which may be of use to you. The proceeds of this sale will go to the missions. Please patronize. There will also be a sale of herbal and food products produced by the Katkari Adivasis of Roha District.
