We remind you that on Palm Sunday, the 8.00 am Mass is cancelled and the solemn Palm Sunday procession from the School grounds will begin at 8.30 am, followed by Mass in the Church. Other Masses are as usual.
We remind you that after the evening 6 pm Mass on Palm Sunday, the Veronica Service will be held on the adjacent School Ground, conducted by the Confraternity.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be administered on Mon 3rd, Tue 4th and Wed 5th from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm in the Assembly Hall.
The Easter Triduum Services are as follows: Maundy Thurs: 12.30 noon, blessing of bread in the Loyola Hall. 5 pm: Mass for the Housebound in the Church 7.30 pm: Mass of the Lord’ Supper on the School Ground. 11.00 pm to 12.00 midnight: Vigil with the Lord (in Church). Good Friday: 7.30 am – Stations of the Cross in Konkani 8.30 am: Stations of the Cross for Children 10.00 am: Stations of the Cross for Adults 6.00 pm: The Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion followed by the devotional ceremony: Taking the Body of the Lord down from the Cross – conducted by the Confraternity. Holy Saturday: 7.30 am – Waiting with Mary. Easter Vigil Liturgy: 9.00 pm on the School Ground. The Easter Triduum Services will not be live streamed.
The Bombay Catholic Sabha, one of the organizers of the Samast Christi Samaj Mahamorcha, will be organizing a bus on 12 April, for the benefit of parishioners, leaving the Church at 3.00 pm, to go straight to Azad Maidan for the Rally and to return. Please register with our Parish Receptionist. It will be good to show solidarity with those being unjustly attacked in various ways.
