This Sunday is Justice Sunday. We remember the need for Justice to Workers, to Undertrials, to the Environment, to Women, to the Poor and Marginalized, to Minority Groups – so many areas in which we need to make progress in addressing. We resolve to do something concrete in each area, as a Parish Community.
Last Sunday the YSS collected a total of 26 bottles of blood, with several intended donors being declined due to safety parameters. We thank each one of those who came forward to donate blood. May God reward you!
The Parish has fixed on a Vision Statement for this year: Be the Good News in the World. For the month ahead we will work at the following Mission Statement: “We value relationships – within the family, in our neighbourhood and in our workplace – and we try to dialogue, especially in conflict situations; we practice forgiveness and generosity; and we make efforts to build friendships with all.” We request cluster groups in the Parish to work on strategies to act on this Mission Statement.
The St. Peter’s unit of the Bombay Catholic Sabha has formed a Whatsapp Broadcast List in order to be in regular communication with its members, with the intention of involving our Parish in Justice Issues. If you would like to join the BCS please contact the Parish Office
