We welcome you to the Christmas liturgies next weekend. We will have an open-air Christmas Vigil Mass on the 24th at 8.30 pm on the School Grounds, and only double-vaccinated Parishioners will be eligible to attend as per BMC rules. We have to restrict the number to 900 people and hence tokens will be distributed to each Zonal community through the Coordinator at 60 individuals from each zone. The Mass will be followed by fellowship over coffee. On Saturday 25th, Masses will be at 6, 7.30, 9 and 10.30 am and one Christmas Mass in the evening at 5.00 pm. The 6.30 pm Mass on the 25th will be the anticipated Sunday Mass – Feast of the Holy Family which will be live streamed. The 5.00 pm Mass on Sunday 26th Dec and on Sunday 2nd January will be in Konkani. Fr. Praful will celebrate a Mass in Hindi on Christmas day at 3.00 pm exclusively for our Adivasi parishioners. Please note carefully the change in the Mass schedules.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be administered on Tue 21st, Wed 22nd and Thurs 23rd from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm in the School Assembly Hall on the Ground Floor.
The Children’s Mass will be suspended for the next two weekends and will resume on the 9th of Jan, along with the Catechism classes online.
A sale of Christmas Sweets and Food Items, along with Christmas products is being held this weekend after every Mass. Please patronise the stalls in our School Assembly Hall.
The Prison Ministry, in partnership with Ekatvam: the Parish Singles Group, also has a sale of Christmas decorations made by children at the Dongri Observation Home for Children in Need of Care and Protection. Proceeds will go towards the welfare of these children.
Our St. Peter’s Youth, SPY, announce a special programme in the Christmas week which they title: UNWRAP. Monday the 27th will be Nostalgia Night for the Senior Citizens, with games, music, dance and fellowship. Tue 28th will be Camp Fire Night or BBQ night, open to all, with BBQ and Karaoke. Registration will be through the Parish Office strictly for Parishioners, since the number will be restricted. Do look up our Notice boards.
