  • We are privileged to inform you that His Eminence Cardinal Oswald Gracias will ordain to the Priesthood, Jesuit Deacon Praful Ekka, in St. Peter’s Church, next Saturday 24th July. Due to Covid protocols, only a few specially invited will be able to physically attend. The Ceremony will be live streamed from 4.50 pm on the St. Peter’s YouTube Channel. We invite your participation online.
  • In view of the Ordination, next Saturday 24th, the anticipated Sunday Mass will be shifted to 7.00 pm instead of 6.45 pm. Please note this change.
  • Fr. Praful Ekka will celebrate his First Mass as Main Celebrant on Sunday 25th July at 9.00 am, in Hindi. His family from Chhattisgarh will be in attendance. The Mass will be live streamed. Our adivasi parishioners and others interested are invited to participate online.
  • Next Sunday 25th July, we celebrate Parents and Grandparents Day and the Jesus Club invites you to the Children’s Mass, followed by a Web program entitled, “The Colourful Shades of Parenting”, from 9 am to 10 am. We have 3 experienced speakers to talk to us on different aspects of parenting. No booking of seats needed. Just log on next Sunday to the link displayed on our Parish Website Homepage.
  • For the fast approaching Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, Founder of the Jesuits, we bring you a Triduum of reflections, on Wed 28th, Thur 29th and Fri 30th July, after the evening Mass, from 7.40 pm to 8.30 pm, online. The Novena prayers to St. Ignatius will begin from this Thurs 22nd of July. The Jesuits are especially grateful for the 500th Anniversary this year of the Cannonball experience that changed the life of Inigo and had a profound influence on the world. We invite you to join us in reflection and thanksgiving.
  • During this extended Lockdown, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Peter’s Unit, has expanded its works of charity, thus depleting all its Funds. We therefore make an Appeal for contributions online to support the charitable works of the SSVP. Details for online contributions are available on our Parish Website Homepage.
