Priest in charge: Fr Assis Rodrigues, s.j. Before the birth of your child, the parents-to-be, have to undergo ‘Pre-Baptismal’ Catechesis. This course is compulsory. To get your child baptized, register your name at the Parish Office three months before the birth of your child.

Timings of Baptism: Every Sunday after the 10:00 am Mass.

Adult Baptism (R.C.I.A Rite of Christian Initiation For Adults):
Priest in charge: Fr. Baptist Pinto, s.j.
This is an official programme of catechesis for those adults who wish to be baptized. This programme, which includes weekly classes and sharing, starts in June and ends with baptism on Easter Sunday.

First Holy Communion: Priest in charge: Fr. Baptist Pinto, s.j. For those who are in the 4th standard: Please register at the Parish Office at the beginning of June. Only children from the Parish can be enrolled. Classes are held every Sunday after the children’s Mass. The First Holy Communion Service is usually held at the beginning of January.

Confirmation: Priest in charge: Fr. Simon D’souza, s.j. For those who are in the first year Junior College and who reside in our Parish. Please register at the Parish Office in the first week of June. The Sacrament of Confirmation is usually administered in February. Classes are held once a week on Sundays from June to January. Attendance is compulsory.

Marriages:
Priest in charge of the Zonal Community.
Those intending to get married should (a) do one of the Marriage Courses organised officially by the Diocese, at least six months before marriage. (b) Meet your priest in-charge of the Community at least 3 months before the wedding to have enough time for the necessary documents to be done. (c) Marriages are not allowed to take place on Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday. Marriages during Lent, especially on Sundays of Lent, are STRONGLY DISCOURAGED and to a lesser degree during the season of Advent. Please note that NO SINGLE COUPLE WEDDING IS GUARANTEED IN OUR CHURCH.
Timings: Weekdays – 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm, Sat. 3.00 pm and 4.30 pm, (First Thurs – 3.30pm, First Fri – 4.30 pm) Sat and Sun. 3:30 pm and at Regular Masses. Those not from our Parish are welcome to have their Nuptials at our Church, with a No Objection letter from their Parish.

Sick Calls: When someone falls sick and needs the Sacrament of Anointing, please contact the Parish Office or get in touch with the priest community-coordinator.

Funerals:

When there is a death in the family and funeral arrangements have to be made, please contact the Zonal Priest. Get the death certificate from the doctor, the burial certificate from the Municipality and make arrangements with the Undertaker. Weekdays: 9:15 am, 4:15 pm. Sun 11:00 am and 3.30 pm. For exhumation of temporary graves and transfer of the remains to niches (after a period of 18 months), the parish should be informed before the lapse of the above-mentioned period, failing which the grave will be made available for other burials.
