St. Peter’s Church continues to remain closed. Only online Masses will be available twice a day. The Parish Office is also closed and hopes to open on the 3rd of May. We encourage our parishioners to contact us on the landlines, our personal mobiles or on email, for any need. Mass intentions are not available for the whole of May. We pray together for all those who have succumbed to the virus, including many priests.
The Parish has been distributing lunch packets at our Campus gate every morning during this lockdown, at 11.00 am, coordinated by Fr. Gerard. Your donations to our Community Fund through our website www.stpetersbandra.org will make this possible. The parish has introduced a payment gateway for online donations, along with NEFT transactions and cheques delivered to our Gate.
Jesuit Fr. Stan Swamy, still detained at Taloja Central Jail, is celebrating his 84th birthday. St. Peter’s YSS is celebrating his life-giving service to society by holding a Blood DonationCamp in collaboration with Holy Family Hospital this Monday 26th April, from 8 am to 2 pm in the Loyola Hall, with all Covid protocols in place. Every drop of blood donated is a gift of life for someone in need.
