  • We greet our Muslim Brothers and Sisters this Sunday 10th July, as they celebrate the Festival of Bakri-Eid – commemorating Abraham’s sacrifice. Pleased with the obedience of Abraham – God offered Abraham a goat to offer in sacrifice – instead of Isaac his son. Muslims celebrate the obedience of Abraham and the mercy of God. We greet our Muslim brethren – Eid Mubarak !
  • The Suggestion Box in the Lobby of the Parish has received several suggestions and complaints. Our responses are displayed on the Notice Board in the Lobby. We encourage your suggestions, which could be anonymous. We also invite you to email your suggestions to us on the email address: stpetersbandra@gmail.com or to any PPC member.
  • The Symposium on, “Remembering the Tribal Rights’ Activist, Fr. Stan Swamy and his message”, organized by the Bombay Catholic Sabha, was well attended, with meaningful sharings from courageous external speakers: Dr. Brinelle, Dr. Korde, Ms. Astrid, Mr. Dolphy and Adv. Lara.
  • Our young people between the ages of 18 and 35 are invited to join the Lectors, Cantors, Eucharistic Ministers and Associations like the Bombay Catholic Sabha and the Women’s Cell. We need young blood!
  • The St. Peter’s Health Cell, open every weekday evening, with specialist doctors attending, needs volunteers to assist the doctors for an hour or two from 5.00 to 7.00 pm. Please approach the Clinic.
  • Practices for the St. Andrew’s All Bandra Zonals to be held in Aug and Sept, have begun at St. Peter’s. We invite participants from our Parish.
  • The Stop-Gaps are presenting a concert titled, “Sounds of Freedom” on the 15th of August, in St. Andrew’s Auditorium, to commemorate the 75th year of Independence. Check the Poster for ticket details.
  • Next Sat 16th July we celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. We lift up our neighbouring Parish, interceding for blessings on the people and priests of the Parish.
